FLORACONTROL®
Preparation of chitosan (from Aspergillus niger) and inactivated yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for the protection of wines against certain spoilage microorganisms. Contributes to the protection of wines from oxidation. Biocontrol product.
FLORACONTROL® is a specific combination of a natural fungal polysaccharide, chitosan, and selected inactivated yeasts to combat wine spoilage microorganisms and protect wine from oxidation.
Reduction of the overall microbial load (yeasts and bacteria).
A tool for wine production with reduced SO2 content or without sulphites.
The inactivated yeast fraction provides a natural reducing ingredient that helps protect the wine from oxidation during ageing.
Clarification of wines by sedimentation.
Possibility of treatment prior to alcoholic fermentation. Use of this formulation between FA and FML can delay the start of FML.
Treatment of wines during maturation.

Suggested: 20 - 30 g/hL
EU limit: max. 50 g/hL
