QUERTANIN® Q1 250g
Stave-wood-quality ellagic tannins, extracted from the heartwood of French and American oak. For use after vinification in red, rosé and white wines.
QUERTANIN® Q1 is a preparation of ellagic tannins used during the ageing process, which interacts with the tannin structure and contributes to the balance of the wines.
It regulates redox phenomena during barrel ageing or micro-oxygenation.
Recreates in used barrels an environment rich in ellagic tannins, identical to that found in new oak.Facilitates clarification.

DOSAGE
The Oenological Code stipulates that tannins 'must not alter the aromatic characteristics and colour of the wine'.
Dosage rates therefore vary according to the matrix of the wine and are determined after trials.Preservation of aromatic freshness in white and rosé wines: 2 - 5 g/hL (20 - 50 ppm).
Ageing in red wines: 5 - 10 g/hL (50 - 100 ppm)
