Description
BI-ACTIV®
Nutrient for use in cases of slowed or stopped fermentation.
A special formula based on yeast cell walls, inert support elements (cellulose) and inactivated yeast, BI-ACTIV® provides:
A physical yeast support effect.
Detoxification of must and wine.
OENOLOGICAL CONDITIONS
- If fermentation stops, adjust the SO2 level (20 to 30 ppm), do a draught and then add BI-ACTIV®. Please refer to the protocol for restarting fermentation.
DOSAGE
- For slow fermentation (white, rosé, red) and low turbidity: 30 g/hL (300 ppm).
- For treatment of arrested fermentation: 60 g/hL (600 ppm) for red, 30 g/hL (300 ppm) for white/rosé or when used in combination with TURBICEL.
Maximum permissible dose (EU): 303 g/hL (3030 ppm).
